The design of the Bellows are determined considering the temperature, pressure, movements to be absorbed in the pipeline or ducting and the media which is flowing.
Bellows are the flexible elements of the expansion joints which has to be strong enough so as to withstand the pressure and accept the deflections repeatedly with minimum resistance. The deflections results in stresses which need to be kept bear minimum so as to avoid premature fatigue failures. This requirement of strength in addition to flexibility that a bellow element has to have, is an unique requirement unlike other industrial equipments. Moreover another conflicting requirement our bellows designer have to attend to is the higher thickness for pressure and lower thinness for flexibility.
flexican manufactures bellows as per Expansion Joint Manufacturers Association (EJMA) and has developed a computerized design program which generates more than 100 models for a given design parameter to optimize the specific design for best performance. With more than four decades of experience our goal is to provide the best optimum design thereby keep our customers competitive by supplying technically superior, engineered products requiring least maintenance that are unparalleled in value and in quality.
flexican also has expertise in designing the Bellows from Stainless Steel and Nickel Alloy materials viz. Incoloy, Inconnel, Monel etc. for which the application determines the selection of material.
